Our Partner's Story
Our factory and design partner started in 1980 as a family business in a humble goldsmith shop in the Middle East and has grown into one of the largest gold jewelry suppliers in the world. Our partner not only designs and produces highest-quality gold jewelry but also sells directly to customers via its own retail stores across the Middle East and to over 1,200 other retail stores in the region.
Doré D’or stands by the quality and authenticity of its 18K solid gold jewelry designs - all of which are designed, cast, set and finished by its partner which holds multiple, important certifications including two focused on gold purity and quality.

ISO 9001
The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an international standard-setting body of the British Standards Institution (BSI) which reviews and rates quality manufacturing standards set internationally. BSI is the world's largest certification body for quality manufacturing standards.
Dubai Gold Delivery (DGD) Standard
Developed in 2005 by the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre the DGD is regarded as the international benchmark for quality and technical specifications in the production of gold and silver. Our partner remains a DMCC member and met the DGD standard when it was a gold bullion producer.
London Bullion Market Assoc. (LBMA) Good Delivery & Responsible Sourcing
The LBMA benchmarks and regulates the requirements for large gold and silver bar production (our partner's key raw material) through the London Good Delivery List. These standards, recognized throughout the world, ensure that accredited refiners meet the high quality standards of production and responsible sourcing. Our partner, who formerly produced their own raw gold bars under LBMA certification, is now supplied by Switzerland-based LBMA member MKS PAMP S.A.
OHSAS 18001
OHSAS 18001 is an internationally applied British Standard for occupational health and safety management systems. Guardian Independent Certification Ltd. developed this rigorous, international measurement system to assess occupational health and safety standards. It is a globally recognized and broadly sought worker health and safety certification.
Operating Company Environmental Standards Compliance - Environment
Our partner complies with specific governmental agency environmental rules and conditions for manufacturing businesses established to protect the environment. This environmental approval is assessed and renewed every two years.
Industrial Compliance with Fire Codes - Civil Defense
An assessment process and permit issued under civil defense regulations confirming that our partner complies with applicable fire codes related to worker safety.
